allergy eye drops?

It may only be February, but I'm already preparing for this years seasonal allergy season. After literally not having success with any OTC or prescribed allergy medications for my whole life, I decided last year to go natural and only take herbal medication. I couldn't believe it! My spring, summer, and fall months were almost completely allergy free. The only time I did suffer any symptoms was when I oh-so foolishly ran out of the medication which I was taking. I won't be doing that again.

In case anyone is interested in what I am taking...I take one capsule of Quercetin in morning and night---I start taking it at least a few months before allergy season to have it built-up in my system.   When allergy season hits if I have a symptom I take a stinging nettle supplement.  If that doesn't work, usually BioAllers does the trick.

The only thing I haven't completely gone natural in is eye drops. When my allergies are bad, my eyes tend to be itchy and sting.  I can't seem to find a highly recommended allergy eye drop.  Any suggestions??

Similasan Allergy Eye Relief™ eye drops, work for me. I have tried prescription allergy eye drops that cost a bundle but did not work. These work. And do not cost a lot of money. they are OTC as well.http://www.similasanusa.com/products-allergy-eye-relief.cfm

Yay! I was going to recommend Similasan as well! They're homeopathic eye drops and while I haven't used them for allergies, I have used their Stye formula and my boyfriend has used the pink eye formula! Both of us had great results!

I love them! I have used the dry eye relief as well. I got some Patanol from the doctor. I only used the free samples but they cost about $100 per bottle and they did not work at all. I have also used the Dry Eye Relief when I was told that I had dry spots on my eye. I guss that is part of fibromyalgia. Dry mouth and eyes. I really love that line of products. They really work! I do not think that I would purchase any other type of eye product other than this.

My father, an optometrist, prescribes Patanol for allergy related dry and/or itchy eyes and gives out Systane for occasional dry and/or itchy eye issues. Hope that helps. :)
